We get it — the Grammys definitely have a sketchy history when it comes to honoring people of color. But this year’s show is the most diverse it’s been in a while, and besides supporting our people, here are six other reasons to watch the 2018 Grammy Awards on Sunday.
It’s in New York City
Anything that leaves Los Angeles for New York has a certain undeniable energy that you can feel through the screen.

You already know how it goes when Kung Fu Kenny opens an award show. We’ll be talking about it for months. He’s also rumoured to be bringing Dave Chappelle out with him. We shall see.
