In a statement to TMZ from her family, Lil Tay claims that her Instagram account was compromised, and used to spread “jarring information”. Tay’s fake death was posted yesterday (Wednesday, August 9). The shocking statement also claimed that her brother passed away as well. The information surrounding the circumstances of their deaths was, until today, unclear. Now it appears that we know why. This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
