Just like Conan O’Brien before him, Jimmy Fallon’s run as a late night host got off to a rocky start, but over time, Fallon’s become very comfortable and endearing as host of a late night talk show.
The many segments Fallon has on his show keep us tuned in, plus having The Roots as the house band guarantees that we’ll be nodding our heads at some point in the evening.
One of our favorite segments is when Jimmy Fallon breaks out his impersonation of legendary rocker Neil Young. In a near perfect imitation of him, Fallon covers popular songs and TV show themes in the style of Young.
For his latest Neil Young sketch, Jimmy was joined by another legendary rock star, Bruce Springsteen, to put a new spin on Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair.”
Curiously, one of Fallon’s first Neil Young sketches involved him singing the theme to Willow’s father’s old show, “The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air.”
