A story in the Miami New Times lists A-Rod among the athletes who purchased controlled substances from a Miami “wellness clinic” run by nutritionist Anthony Bosch. According to the article, Rodriguez’s name appeared in Bosch’s records 16 times as the recipient of HGH and other PEDs banned by Major League Baseball. The Yankees are currently locked into a five-year, $114 million contract with the three-time American League MVP, but his skills have been on the decline.
