This week, George Zimmerman’s attorneys announced that they would be seeking a “Stand Your Ground” hearing. The 28-year-old neighborhood watchman is still claiming self-defense as the motive behind his fatal shooting of unarmed teen, Trayvon Martin.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, the reason Zimmerman’s defense feel as though they can use the “Stand Your Ground” hearing is because they think the case shows “clear support for a strong claim of self-defense.” However, this audio proves thecomplete opposite.
This audio compilation that’s been released via YouTube proves that Zimmerman’s lied from the 911 call to every interrogation following his shooting Martin. The sickest part of this audio is around the 6:13 mark when you can hear Zimmerman cocking his gun. As far as I’m concerned, this was premeditated murder, which doesn’t allow Zimmerman to “Stand His Ground.”
