Damon Dash Speaks On Aaliyah 10 Years After Death
Damon Dash Reflects On Love, Loss Of Aaliyah On 10-Year Anniversary
Ten years since the passing of R&B songstress Aaliyah, Rap Mogul Damon Dash sits down with Billboard’s The Juice to remember his then-girlfriend.
In the interview Dash recalls meeting Aaliyah, managing their hectic schedules, the pain he felt when she passed and whether he would do it all over again.
“She was intelligent and she caught me,” Dash tells The Juice. “I’m the kind of guy who says things sometimes just to make myself laugh, but she would just catch me making jokes for me. I couldn’t get anything past her. She had a very quick mind and a very kind heart.”
