Today is a very important day in Alabama. People will be voting for who will take the next Senate seat. Attorney Glennon Threatt talked about Doug Jones and how he has helped so many people in Alabama. Then he began talking about the importance of voting.

Threatt began talking about how there was a time where Black people weren’t able to vote and they had to pay poll taxes as well as take test. He believes that the idea of people staying home troubles him. Threatt also said, “A vote is like your mind it’s a terrible thing to waste.”
