Officer Arrested After Being Accused Of Tampering In Suicide Case

Officer Francisco Olmos is now being investigated after police detectives mentioned he allegedly tampered with a suicide victims phone. According to 13 WTHR, Olmlos knew the victim and IMPD’s Special Investigations and Internal Affairs unit looked in to what he possibly did.

Reports state that Olmos deleted the suicide victims messages between them even though he was off-duty at the time. Olmos allegedly had known the victim for a couple of months and they spoke everyday. Some of the messages were recovered by a team, but now Olmos is going to be charged with felony obstruction as well as misdemeanor computer trespass.
