Tyrese and his wife, Samantha Gibson married earlier this year and recently spoke about how she was successful before meeting him.

In a Instagram post it said, “Ladies, dating a successful guy does not make you successful. Success is not sexually transmitted. Get your own.”

On the post she began to tell her story of the many hardships she went through, how she worked multiple jobs just to have money and how she survived being homeless.
One piece of advice that Samantha gave was how important it is for women to have their own career and money.
According to The Jasmine Brand, Samantha said, “There’s people who treat me like I’ve made it because of the man that happen to be married to. NO!!!! I considered myself successful before I even gave him the time of day!”
The successful executive director admitted that she worked hard to get to where she is now and it all wasn’t because of Tyrese.
Fans of Samantha loved what she said and believe her statements were right on.
