Kim Kardashian is releasing a new beauty line, but the attention quickly shifted away from the actual product when she released a series of ads for it, featuring herself. In the series of photos she looks suspiciously darker, which immediately caused social media to erupt in accusations of blackface.

Kim eventually took the photos down, and explained that they would be edited and insisting that she wasn’t wearing a darker color. Rather, she was “really tan” and the way the photo was edited made it look that way. Is she guilty, or telling the truth?
