Ferguson, Missouri just had an election for Mayor, and way too little of the city’s population turned out for it. The city re-elected the same mayor who was in place in 2014, when Mike Brown was murdered, over Ella Jones, a black woman with experience in Ferguson’s government. She would have been the city’s first black mayor, ever.
