Cosby made the admission while testifying under oath after former Temple University employee Andrea Constand filed a lawsuit against the famous comedian accusing him of sexual assault in 2005.

He admitted to giving the sedative to at least one woman and “other people.” During testimony, Cosby said he gave Constand three half-pills of Benadryl, not Quaaludes. But two other women, who testified on the victim’s behalf, said they were knowingly given quaaludes.

Cosby settled out of court in 2006. He’s been battling with the Associated Press to block the release of the testimony, which his lawyers said would “embarrass” the 77-year-old.

Cosby, who has been accused by more than two dozen women of rape, drugging and/or sexual assault over the course of four decades, has never been criminally charged.
