The downward spiral of headlines related to Bobbi Kristina Brown being found face down and unconscious in her Georgia home continues. A perceived rift among members of the Brown family allegedly caused by suspicion over Nick Gordon’s involvement in the incident, hotel fights, and alleged reality show aspirations have taken a backseat to any possible updates about Brown’s medical condition.
Gordon is scheduled to appear on Dr. Phil on March 11, during an interview already being teased as a precursor to Gordon’s stint in rehab. A trailer of his appearance can be viewed below. The release of the trailer follows Bobbi Kristina Brown’s paternal aunt, Leolah Brown, alleging Gordon is being targeted in conjunction with Bobbi Kristina being found unconscious.
“Nick Gordon is under investigation for the attempted murder of my niece Bobbi Kristina Brown,” Leolah Brown wrote via her Facebook page. “We have strong evidence of foul play. Until this investigation is completed by law enforcement, I would ask that you or anyone else not provide this individual a platform to spin this situation to his benefit.”
Brown also pleaded with media members to stop giving Gordon a platform until the investigation is concluded. Police have not confirmed Gordon as a suspect in Brown’s near drowning, nor have they named any other confirmed or potential suspects.
