Ciara "I Bet"
Ciara Addresses Breakup With Future On “I Bet” [NEW MUSIC]
After putting out singles like “Body Party and “I’m Out” off her last self-entitled album, Ciara is back with new music talking about love and heartbreak.
Ciara released “I Bet” from her forthcoming album that has a clear message for her ex-fiance Future who was reportedly cheating on her.
“I bet you start loving me/ As soon as I start loving someone else/ Somebody better than you/ I bet you start needing me/ As soon as you see me with someone else/ Somebody other than you,” Ciara sings. “And I know that it hurts/ You know that it hurts your pride/ But you thought the grass was greener on the other side.”
She also has ad-libs on the track that sound very similar to Future’s distinctive sound, but it’s not him. The voice you hear is Theron Thomas who also wrote the song.
Listen to the track and let us know if you’re feeling it!
