Mike Epps landed two incredible roles in the Richard Pryor and Nina Simone biopics. But he tells “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show” his performance in the Nina Simone film may never be seen, possibly because of this lawsuit.
The Nina Simone biopic has been a lighting rod for criticism for the casting of Zoe Saldana to play the jazz legend. But matters only worsened when photos of Zoe wearing a prosthetic nose and darker skin surfaced.
