R&B singer Ray J was in a Los Angeles County courtroom to face charges of sexual battery and resisting arrest to which he plead not guilty.
Page Six reports Ray J, real name William Ray Norwood Jr., was arrested May 30 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel after a woman claimed he groped her in the bar. Police allege the “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” star ignored requests to leave the establishment and got belligerent when he was being taken into custody. Also, police claim Ray J broke the patrol car’s window by repeatedly kicking it.
Ray J entered his not guilty plea to misdemeanor sexual battery, vandalism, battery on a police officer and resisting a police officer on Tuesday. He must be present during a preliminary hearing on August 28.
