Lil’ Wayne says that he and Drake recorded so much material for Wayne’s upcoming Tha Carter IV, that they might have an album’s worth of material for a collab album that could see release by the end of the year.

Nicki Minaj‘s platinum debut album, Pink Friday, continues to give the Young Money rapper something to celebrate.  It’s broken the record for most consecutive weeks in the Billboard 200 Top 10 after 14 weeks.

After eleven weeks on the chart, Nicki Minaj‘s Pink Friday will take the number one spot on this week’s Billboard’s Top 200 chart. Released in November of last year, the album has sold over a million units. The album debuted at number 2 and has stayed in the top 10 ever since.

Drake has officially put his R&B mixtape, It’s Never Enough, on indefinite hold.  The highly anticipated mixtape was expected to be released last year.  Drake revealed late last year that the mixtape had been delayed but would still be released.

One of hip-hop’s biggest stars can stop looking over his shoulder for the taxman.  Lil’ Wayne recently paid off a $1.13 million tax debt according to the Detroit News’ Tax Watchdog.
