A grand jury has convicted James Fields Jr. of first-degree murder after they found the Ohio man intentionally drove his car into a crowd of anti-racism protestors in Charlottesville, Virginia last year, killing Heather Heyer and injuring more than 40 others.


James Alex Fields, 21, was indicted on 30 federal charges on Wednesday.

Many will never forget Heather Heyer, the 32-year-old woman that was killed in Charlottesville, VA while protesting against white supremacist as well as neo-Nazis.

A memorial service for Heather Heyer will take place this morning at 11 a.m. at Charlottesville’s Paramount Theater.
