Sanaa Lathan received two NAACP Image Award nominations in 2025 for her roles in The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat (2024) and Young. Wild. Free. (2023). She is set to star in and executive produce the upcoming drama series Miss Cleo and has previously starred in Nappily Ever After, earned an Emmy nomination for Succession, and directed On the Come Up (2022). Lathan has also shared that she stopped drinking alcohol three years ago.

As of March 2024, Omar Epps is represented by Independent Artist Group and stars in Power Book III: Raising Kanan. Known for his roles in House, Shooter, This Is Us, and Resurrection, he has won three NAACP Image Awards. Epps has been married to Keisha Spivey since 2006, and they share three children.
