Fresh off the announcement of his deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, Jay Electronica has dropped his first song with the label, appropriately titled “The Announcement.”
Featuring a sample of a JFK speech, “The Announcement” features the highly lauded rapper spitting over a sparse beat of just some tom toms and a vibraphone.
Strictly for the streets internet.
Now that Jay Electronica has a deal, let’s hope he starts putting out more than 2 songs a year.
