Though it’s been reported Shaunie fired the three women from the show and alluded to the fact she knew who was going to get fired in other interviews, Shaunie says she was blindsided by the news Royce, Kesha, and Jennifer were let go. Shaunie, who is an executive producer on the show, maintains the other producers have left her in the dark when it comes to the show since they butted heads over the show’s direction.
Shaunie is said to be furious over the firings and says she isn’t afraid to walk away from the show if it becomes something she no longer believes in.
As much as I like Shaunie, I find it hard to believe that as an executive producer, you don’t know what’s going on with your show. Nice try, Shaunie, but after seeing the show and how you didn’t film with Royce and allowed Evelyn and Tami to bully Jennifer and Kesha, I think Shaunie is out here trying to save face.
