Queens World Film Festival Will Show Rock Mystery & Rap Mockumentary
The Queens World Film Festival will open next week on March 1st and offer two movies based on modern music. The first is “Mr. Bricks” which is a heavy metal, murder mystery, musical, and the second is “Chicken And Beef Present: Monkey Gang, The Mockumentary” which is a parody of modern day, corporate sponsored gangsta rap.
“Mr. Bricks” is produced by Troma, the horror film company that produced “The Toxic Avenger” and many other low budget cult classics. “Monkey Gang: The Mockumentary” is the first film from Chicken And Beef, a community based film making collective who’s motto is “Community Over Industry.”
