R. Kelly & Cee Lo Added To “Sparkle” Remake
R. Kelly and Cee Lo Green will be a part of the remake of the 1979 film “Sparkle.” Kells won’t be acting, but will oversee the music soundtrack. Cee Lo has been added to the cast and is also going to sing on the soundtrack since his character is the opening act for the group the film is centered around.
Jordin Sparks, Whitney Houston, Tika Sumpter, Omari Hardwick, Derek Luke and Mike Epps will all be featured in “Sparkle,” and is scheduled to begin filming this October. Get more details at BlackAmericaWeb.com.
