It’s been announced that Jay-Z’s New York nightspot the 40/40/ Club is closing for renovations. The club opened in 2003 and is the flagship of 8 locations around the world.
Jay-Z and partner Juan Perez thanked patrons and discussed the 40/40’s makeover in a letter posted on the club’s websites. According to the letter, the renovations will be lead by renowned designer Jeffery Bears.
“Without your commitment the 40/40 Club would not have achieved the worldwide recognition it has today. We have shared amazing moments together and only look to expand on those memories in the years to come. “
