Over the weekend, the pop star posted screenshots on Instagram of a private conversation between him and an unnamed male friend. The exchange got intense fast, with Bieber speaking openly about pain, trauma, and how he expresses anger.
“I will never suppress my emotions for someone,” Bieber wrote. “Conflict is part of relationship. If you don’t like my anger you don’t like me.” He went on to explain, “My anger is a response to pain I have been thru. Asking a traumatized person not to be traumatized is simply mean.”
The other person responded, “I’m not used to someone lashing out at me. It’s not that I don’t see and feel your anger.”

That reply didn’t sit well with Bieber, who made it clear the friendship was done. “Ouch. This friendship is officially over. I will never accept a man calling my anger lashing out.” He added, “I wasn’t kidding when I told u I didn’t need u as a friend.”
From there, Bieber held nothing back. “This confirms u were the p—y I always thought u were,” he wrote, drawing a line in the sand about what he expects from the people around him. “I have good friends who will respect [his] boundaries,” he added earlier in the chat.
Along with the screenshots, Bieber posted a separate message on his Instagram Story that seemed aimed at a wider audience: “Quit asking me if I’m okay. Quit asking me how I’m doing. I don’t do that to you because I know how hard life is for all of us. It’s hard. Letss encourage our people not project our insecurities onto one another.” He concluded, “Your concern doesn’t come off as care. It’s just oppressive weirdo.”

The post drew strong reactions across social media. Some fans applauded his openness about trauma and emotional expression, while others said the way he responded could push supportive people away. One person commented, “These are the type of friends you actually do need. Ones that will hold you accountable…” Another said, “It’s wild how people only allow compassion after someone breaks.”
This wasn’t the only moment of frustration for Bieber recently. Just days earlier, he was caught on video snapping at paparazzi outside Soho House Malibu. Covering his face with his arm, he told them, “Not me today bro. How do you think it’s going with you in my f–king face? Get out of my f–king face!”
Whether online or in person, Justin seems to be in a space where he’s done staying quiet—and not afraid to walk away when people cross the line.
