Teyana Taylor turned heads “Beetlejuice” style at last night’s CFDA Fashion Awards in a black LaQuan Smith cut-out ensemble. The singer-turned-actress and creative director reminded us that she is the moment when she stepped out in this racy number, exposing tattoos, thigh muscles, and a face perfectly crafted by God and His angels.
Last night, the stars aligned in the name of fashion for the CFDA Fashion Awards, honoring this year’s fashion icon, Erykah Badu. Taylor, who obviously understood the assignment, showed out clad in a black FW24 LaQuan Smith silk viscose cut-out bodysuit and skirt. She styled the look with a black, full-length LaQuan Smith coat and Bottega Veneta glasses.

NeNe Leakes modeled the same skirt and bodysuit set this summer, opting for Jessica Rich stilettos and her signature blonde hair.
Earlier this month, Grammy-award winning artist Victoria Monet hosted a party to celebrate the debut of Jaguar II: Deluxe. The singer also flaunted her curves in the same LaQuan Smith number, lightly accessorized with a few rings and bracelets.
This isn’t an easy ensemble to pull off. The extreme cut-out detailing calls for a confident woman who doesn’t mind showing a lot of skin. Leakes, Monet and Taylor bodied the look, but the A Thousand and One actress’s styling took it to the next level. The way her coat draped effortlessly off her shoulders screams I’m the HBIC.
