Rapper Foxy Brown’s trash talk on Twitter got her canned and possibly sued by her manager.Foxy’s former manager Bernadette Brennan told The New York Daily News that she dropped the rapper as a client, after her Twitter tirade on December 31st.
“It’s always sad when an artist has everything they need at their fingertips but still displays such self-destructive behavior,” Bernadette Brennan told the Daily News.
Sources told The News that Foxy – whose real name is Inga Marchand – is becoming an industry outcast over her unreliability.
Foxy infuriated promoters when she appeared more than four hours late for a show at Splash Bar in Manhattan this fall, sources said. And she blew off her own Christmas Eve event at Brooklyn’s Jelani Lounge – a gig planned to highlight a new album that remains unreleased, sources said.
At the time, the “Ill Na Na” star went on Twitter to blame a last-minute change of venue for the missed gig.
“If she had any money, we’d sue her [for not showing up],” said one Manhattan nightclub manager.
