The “Empire” actress posted a photo in workout gear at the gym along with the caption: “My trainer and I got into a fight about what counts as a push-up. It got physical. Ps, I did not wear my Jordan’s to the gym. That is correct, yes?”

In her memoir, “This Is Just My Face: Try Not to Stare,” Sidibe said she’s working hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle following laparoscopic bariatric surgery.
She wrote: “The surgery was not the easy way out. I was not cheating by getting it done. I would not have been able to lose as much as I have lost without it.It has taken me years to realize that what I was born with is all beautiful. I did not get this surgery to be beautiful. I did it so I can walk around comfortably in heels. I want to do a cartwheel. I want not to be in pain every time I walk up a flight of stairs.”
Adding: “I have a goal right now, and I am almost there.And then once I have got it, I will set another. But my starting weight and my goal weight, they are personal. If too many people are involved, I will shut down.”
