Forbes recently released their highest paid actress list and it looks like Kerry Washington earned enough coins to get on it. According to Essence, Washington is No. 7 for her role on “Scandal” which has brought her $11 million over the past year.

Shonda Rhimes also made that list by landing the No. 3 spot. Washington said during the 6th Annual Women Making History Award, “I just want to say that sometimes, we have been told a false narrative as women, often, that there is only room for one of us in the room.”
Topping that list was Sofia Vergara, which landed at No.1 for making $41.5 from her role on “Modern Family.” Congratulations to all the ladies that made the list.
