Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has been wrapped in scandal as the NFL investigates an alleged possible domestic violence incident with an ex-girlfriend. He has been suspended by the NFL ahead of the season, but as more details emerge, it is unclear whether or not he is being set up, or if he actually committed a crime.

He has filed an appeal, and with new text messages that allegedly show his ex-girlfriend threatening to ruin his career, things aren’t so cut and dry. Not only that, but bruises she claims to have sustained from Elliott also might have come from a bar fight instead. But even with that, Elliott being spotted out on a boat partying on his day off doesn’t make him look anybody.
