Now he finds himself with an opportunity to  speak to students at Howard University.

This year President Wayne A.I. Fredrick said, “I am pleased to welcome Mr. Comey to Howard. His expertise and understanding of the challenges we continue to face today will go a long way in sparking rich discussion and advancing meaningful debates across campus.”
During Howard’s opening convocation Comey will deliver the keynote speech.

According to Essence, Comey is excited about this opportunity and said, “Howard has a longstanding history of being a vibrant academic community and the perfect place to have rich dialogue on many of the most pressing issues we face today. I look forward to contributing to this remarkable institution and engaging students and faculty alike.

Along with speaking Comey will donate his entire King Chair compensation of $100,000 to a Howard University scholarship that helps support students that come from foster homes.

This will not be the only time Comey will be on campus he will have the opportunity to speak at multiple times this year. Some are happy about this news while others aren’t excited.
