Controversy sparked after Kim Kardashian decided to defend makeup artist Jefree Star who has been in trouble in the past for racist comments. The situation began with Kim trying swatches on social media to look at which color fit her tone the best.

Star commented and said, “Umm…Kim what is going on with those new swatches? Looks like chalk” Her fans weren’t happy about that and began bringing up things he did in the past.
Kim has issued an apology and claimed she was informed about things that Star had done in the future, but fans weren’t buying it.
Huffington Post reported that Star even tried to defend his comments and what Kim said, but it didn’t work. This isn’t the first time Kim has faced backlash, but is hoping that fans can forgive her for what happened.
