Rickey Smiley and LeToya Luckett will host the show as they honor Donnie McClurkin, Aaron Hall, Teddy Riley, Damion Hall and Slick Rick.
The 2-hour television event will honor African-American musical legends that have and continue to make contributions.
This show will be taped at the Andrew Jackson Hall in Nashville, TN on August 18th.
