Phaedra Parks always has her hands in a new business or two, but her latest venture may not only be beneficial to her, but to women everywhere.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is set to launch her own dating app. She told Page Six, “Porsha [Williams] and I are creating a dating app. She and I are both single, and we want to be able to use not just our personal resources, but the world-wide web to find possible solutions for single women.”
Phaedra says she’s hopeful that eligible bachelors and bachelorettes will view her love tool as the “anti-Tinder,” adding, “We want ours to be centered on people who really want to be in committed relationships. It’s not even going to be available for people who are under 25, because we feel like if you’re under 25, you’re probably not really focused on committed, serious relationship. We want people that are interested in lifelong commitments, not just hookups.”
The mom of two also hopes to make the app available in New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Chicago, with her focus on helping potential users form lasting relationships. She continued, “I come into contact with so many women who want to be married, and men, who want to be married and have children, but if you are a professional and have a strong work ethic, you don’t have a lot of time to meander through the city looking for the one. I think our dating app is going to help you sift through the weeds to find a flower.”
The unnamed, anti-Tinder app is set to launch in 2017. Will you be joining?
