Rickey Smiley just celebrated a birthday by gathering some helpful hands, the Rickey Smiley Foundation, and The Salvation Army to fill up a pantry full of food and supplies for the homeless. He’s been raving about feeling so fulfilled by the day’s work, knowing they provided food for the rest of the year for some people that really needed it.
Despite the excitement of such a beautiful day, something managed to creep in and irritate him a little bit- birthday texts. He says he’s tired of people using birthdays to demand his attention, and then get all in their feelings when he can’t respond promptly.
