CNN anchor Don Lemon is usually on the receiving end of social media snark because of comments he makes about race. But on Tuesday night, he was the one delivering sharp commentary while interviewing a supporter of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, who intimated that “Second Amendment people” might be able to stop Hillary Clinton if she wins the election.

Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino defended Trump amid a welter of complaints about Trump’s comment that appears to promote violence, reports The Hill:

“It’s clear he’s trying to motivate people to go out and vote based on the potential for an open Supreme Court seat,” Bongino argued during his CNN appearance Tuesday night.

Bongino then accused Lemon of having a preconceived idea that Trump was calling for violence, saying the CNN anchor “didn’t come into this with a clear and open mind.”

“What you’re saying right now makes no sense,” Lemon told the guest.

The exchange became even more fiery. Watch the video above and sound off in comments.
