Why Is Killer Mike Shading The Hell Out Of Kevin Hart?
Killer Mike and El-P have a bone to pick with Kevin Hart. News dropped earlier today that Hart is set to produce and star in an action-comedy that, according to THR, is about “a group of failed rappers who attempt to rob an eccentric hip-hop mogul.” The thing is, the movie is called “Run the Jewels,” same as Mike and El’s immensely popular supergroup.
While Hart may not be facing a lawsuit for copyright violation, as the phrase “run the jewels” was once a reference to stealing long before the rap duo started working together, the two rappers took to Twitter to voice their opinion on the matter.

It’s hard to believe that a self-avowed hip hop fan like Hart wouldn’t have been familiar with “Run the Jewels,” but it seems like he doesn’t care about pissing them off.
