Woman Who Posed As Nurse For Bobbi Kristina Charged With Fraud
Taiwo Bolatito Sobamowo, the woman cited for posing as a registered nurse and allegedly caring for Bobbi Kristina Brown before her death, has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of fraud, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The 32-year-old was brought to court on Sunday, where she was charged with financial identity fraud, false identification documents, and four counts of practicing registered nursing without a license in Gwinnett County, Ga. Sobamowo is expected to receive more charges in other counties where she faked her medical credentials.
The Georgia Board of Nursing claimed she was fired when she could not provide proper documentation. A tip given to the cops tracked down Sobamowo. However, a police report indicated she never had direct contact with the late daughter of Whitney Houston.
This isn’t Sobamowo’s first run-in with the law. In 2013, she allegedly used someone else’s identification to apply for a nursing position in Washington, D.C. The Board of Nursing in the state issued a high alert at the time.
For now, Sobamowo is being held without bond.
