“This will be different from the last time Mendeecees went away. This time I can prepare myself. I can prepare my life. We already started to prepare” she said.
“I think knowing is half the battle for me. The unexpected is what I really couldn’t deal with and where I had a hard time.”
Prior to beginning his prison sentence, Mendeecees is continuing to show he’s a changed man. He and Yandy recently held a toy drive in Harlem.
“I never asked to be in the predicament that I’m in, I thought I was doing everything right. I can’t make excuses while I’m here but I learned a lot” said Mendeecees.
Yandy added, “Sometimes I put myself in a fairytale box where I don’t even think about the negative, I don’t think about what could happen. I think about what is happening which is we have beautiful children, we have a wonderful marriage and a wonderful home that I love. The thought of having any bit of that missing would break my heart.”
Between her career, their four kids and the reality show, Yandy definitely has enough going on to keep her busy. We admire her perseverance during this tough time!
