J.R. Smith Accused Of Choking Teenager Who Joked About His NBA Career At Pizza Shop
Cleveland Cavaliers baller J.R. Smith is being accused of choking a teenager who allegedly teased him about his basketball career.
During the early morning hours of November 13th, Smith was outside of Artichoke Basille’s Pizza in New York’s Chelsea area when a teenager asked to take a photo with him, this according to new reports. Smith refused, which led the boy to clap back and say “That’s why you got kicked out of New York!”
The 6’6″ basketball player allegedly turned around, charged at the teen, and began choking him against the wall. It is being reported that eye witnesses separated them.
Smith did not get arrested at the scene and he waited until Monday to say something about the incident. His lawyer claims the allegations are false and Smith is claiming his own innocence as well.
