The singer and host of The Real was rushed to the hospital this afternoon during rehearsals for the live taping.

According to E! News, she’s been battling pneumonia for almost a month but has continued to push herself to balance her many responsibilities.

Based on the rehearsal footage, the judges gave Tamar and her partner Val Chermokovskiy a 22 out of 30.

“You just saw a person that shouldn’t have been here, and was here because she felt bad for her partner, teacher, you know, that’s why I feel really bad, because it shouldn’t be like that,” said Val while wiping away tears “It should be a fun journey. I’m not here to make her life hard. We want to celebrate her effort.”

Tamar is the second contestant in the season to have a health scare. Former RHOA star, Kim Zolciak had to withdraw from the competition after suffering a mini-stroke. She was unable to receive the medical clearance from her doctors to return to LA and perform.

Kim started a petition to stay in the competition which received over 20,000 signatures. When asked whether or not she should still be able to participate, Tamar was less than empathetic.

“It was really unfortunate that she left and the reason why she left but you know, everyone wants to come back once they get eliminated” she said nonchalantly to People Magazine.

When the interviewer tried to find Tamar’s heart by reminding her that Kim was disqualified for a health reason and maybe there should be some leeway, she shrugged while replying, “I thought the rule was if you miss a performance you can’t come back.”
