During the MTV Video Music Awards rapper Macklemore debuted his new song “Downtown” and brought out Hip Hop legends Melle Mel, Kool Moe Dee and Grandmaster Caz. After the performance he was promptly hit with a barrage of slander for doing so! Critics said that it wasn’t original to have the legends with him on the show.

Well, Big Daddy Kane (Who is one of the dopest emcees to ever touch a mic!) came out in defense of Macklemore and lashed out hard at those who had so much junk to say but yet have not ever even bothered to respect Hip Hop legends in the same way!
