Long-time Hollywood actor and comedian Reynaldo Rey has passed away at the age of 75 due to stroke complications, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Mostly known for his comedic roles in popular black films like White Men Can’t Jump, House Party 3 and Friday, Rey maintained a steady presence on the movie and television scene for over two decades. He began his acting career in 1982, but first made his mark on the scene with a role in Harlem Nights. He later went on to make televsion appearances on popular TV shows like Everybody Hates Chris and The Bernie Mac Show. He  spent 18 years as the opener for legendary Sanford and Sons comedic actor Red Foxx.

Renaldo Rey was born in Oklahoma, but made his home in several states throughout his life including Ohio and New York City. May he rest in peace.
