In a recent interview with “Entertainment Tonight,” Cissy Houston provided an update on the health status of her granddaughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown. Contrary to previous public statements from Bobby Brown and others, Houston said there were no new developments as it concerned the 22-year-old only child of her late daughter, Whitney Houston.
“She’s the same, she’s not progressing at all,” Houston said during an interview with “Entertainment Tonight” correspondent Kevin Frazier. “She’s not gone yet, but you know, whatever the Lord decides, I’m ready for her… I have nothing to do with that. That’s His job. It’s His territory, you know? And I understand it.”
The statements came one day after Pat Houston and Bobby Brown were named Bobbi Kristina’s co-guardians, while attorney Bedelia Hargrove was appointed as Bobbi Kristina Brown’s conservator. Cissy Houston seemingly shrugged off any talk of controversy about the co-guardianship, saying, “We’re a family…that works together for the best.”
