Keke Palmer Addresses Tia Mowry-Hardrict's Shade
Keke Palmer Addresses Tia Mowry-Hardrict’s Shade [VIDEO]
Keke Palmer is attempting to clear up any confusion about a statement she made that apparently got Tia Mowry-Hardrict all worked up.
Mowry-Hardict didn’t name any names when she told women everywhere that having crushes on married men was “not cute,” but Palmer seemed pretty certain that the shade was directed towards her. Apparently, something Palmer said during a previous sit-down with Wendy Williams may have rubbed Mowry-Hardict the wrong way.
Nipping the possible scandal in the bud, Palmer returned to the show today to assure everyone that this has all been a huge misunderstanding. She told Williams:
I’m sorry to be laughing at this, but it is very funny to me because it’s all so twisted. Everything got misconstrued. What happened was, I’ve known Cory since I was 10-years-old. He auditioned for ‘Akeelah and The Bee’ to play my big brother in the film. And in the interview I was talking about how the whole ‘Brotherly Love’ cast, we kind of grew up together. I’ve known Quincy since I was 14. I’ve known most of the cast since I was very young, including Cory. And I was like ‘I’ve known Cory since I was 10 and I was like I’m going to marry this man,’ as a 10-year-old. It was me quoting how I was as a kid.
Keke went on to clarify that she’s not into married men with kids, stating plainly, “Cory is great, but that’s not my style. But I do love Cory. I do love Cory and Tia.”
After that Williams had just a little bit of advice for Mowry-Hardict, flippantly suggesting that the Instant Mom star just calm down.
