V. Stiviano, the woman who last year leaked evidence of racism by former Clippers owner Donald Sterling, has to pay Sterling’s wife back $2.6 million for the gifts the mogul dropped on Stiviano during their marriage, a judge ruled on Tuesday.

The Washington Post outlines a number of gifts Donald Sterling lavished on V. Stiviano, from a $1.8 million Spanish-style duplex to a $14 pair of panties:

That would include a Ferrari, two Bentleys, a Range Rover, a $1.8 million duplex and, for good measure, a $4,570 Louis Vuitton suitcase, to mention a few trinkets the 80-year-old billionaire gave to the 30-something-year-old woman. Still, Stiviano says it was “a relationship of love,” not money.

In a long legal battle between the two women that ended Tuesday, Shelly Sterling argued the money and gifts her husband generously lavished on Stiviano, weren’t his to lavish. It was joint property. In California, assets earned in marriage belong to both parties and cannot be given away without consent. And Shelly Sterling most definitely did not do that.

Stiviano, 32, has to turn the keys to the duplex and $800,000 in cash over to the Sterling Trust. Ironically, the judge ruled against Stiviano because of recordings between her and Donald Sterling discussing how to hide assets, according to Yahoo News.

This Post reports that the dispute between the women began a month before Stiviano leaked a recording between her and then-Clippers owner Donald Sterling where he said he didn’t want black people at his games.

Later, Donald was ruled incompetent, banned from the NBA for life, and fined $2.5 million. Shelly then sold the team to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.
