Amber Rose Opens Up About Racism In Her Family
Amber Rose revealed a shocking secret on last night’s documentary “Light Girls” that explored colorism from a light-skinned perspective. She says some of her family not only disapproved of Wiz Khalifa, but didn’t attend their wedding because he is black.
Amber Rose, who is Creole, Portuguese and Italian, explained some of her older family members feel superior to dark-skinned people and feel their light skin makes them better.
“With my family, they feel like they’re more superior or better than an African American because we’re Creole and we have culture, and that’s something I battle with most of my life,” Amber explains.
