Earlier this morning huzlers.com, an urban satire site, ran a piece reporting that social media sensation, Donna Goudeau, from Port Arthur, Texas had been murdered by another inmate in prison. Social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook got a hold of the story and were subsequently flooded with “RIP” posts and messages of condolence:

We are happy to report that Jason Clark, the Director of Public Information for the Murray Lane Unit of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, has confirmed that Goudeau is, in fact, alive though still incarcerated.
