Lifetime Drops New Teaser For Aaliyah Biopic [VIDEO]
Lifetime has been kind enough to grace its viewers with another glimpse at Alexandra Shipp pulling off her best impression of Aaliyah.

Last week the network released some screenshots of Alexandra playing the singer in “Aaliyah: Princess of R&B,” which premieres November 15 at 8 p.m. In them, the former Nickelodeon star seemed to be fitting into the role pretty well.
There’s been a lot of skepticism surrounding the project, and that’s mostly been based on the casting. As the debut draws closer, the network may be hoping that a quick clip of Alexandra in action may put a dent in those doubts.
From the video above, it looks like she’s got Aaliyah’s attitude down, but we’ll reserve final judgment for after Aaliyah: Princess of R&B airs in November.
