This is so sweet, you guys! Instead of giant flash mob or some huge theatrical production, D.Wade kept it fairly simple when he popped the question to Gabrielle last year.
How do we know? He had a camera crew filming the whole thing. From his son’s holding up signs asking the Think Like A Man Too star to officially join the family to her acceptance, it was all captured on camera. It was a moment that only a man with some Groomzilla tendencies could arrange. We didn’t label him that, but Gabrielle has hinted in the past that he’s very particular about their wedding plans!
The Miami Heat star didn’t let the footage go to waste! The happy couple used it to inform their prospective wedding guests when and where they’ll jump the broom.
It’s not clear when this video was actually sent, since save-the-dates are typically sent before the formal invites. Last month we reported that Gabby and D.Wade will be getting hitched on August 30 in Miami. No specific location has been revealed to the public at this time.
One thing’s for sure, though, there will be more cameras at the proposal than the actual wedding because no cameras (or any other recording devices) will be allowed at Gabrielle and D.Wade’s nuptials or the reception. At least you can enjoy the proposal in the video below!
